Hoy la jornada se ha basado en una visita a la ciudad de Van. Hemos bordeado todo el lago, el cual las guías nos han contado, es el segundo más grande del mundo. Por el camino, se ha hecho una parada en las cascadas de Muradiye. El paisaje era espectacular, aunque el tiempo no nos ha acompañado.
Al llegar a la ciudad hemos visitado el castillo construido en la colina de la costa del lago, donde hemos podido disfrutar de una vista panorámica de toda la ciudad y el lago. Para terminar la jornada, se ha hecho una visita guiada al centro de la ciudad.
Today we spent most of the day visiting Van. We travelled around the edge of the lake which our guides told us is the second biggest in the world. On our way there, we stopped at Muradiye to see some waterfalls. The scenery was spectacular, even though the weather was quite bad.
Once we arrived at the city, we visited a castle on the top of a hill looking over the lake, where we were able to enjoy panoramic views of both the city and the lake. To finish the day, we were shown around the city centre.
