Our second day in Italy has been focused on integration and inclusion in the school, where the organizers of the mobility have shown us different projects to support the integration of the educational system that they are carrying out with immigrant children as well as Romani population settled in the province of Pisa.
After a pleasant coexistence with our project partners we have visited the school «Zensa Zaino» in Cenaia village where students have presented us a different and novel methodology. Through the metaphor Zensa Zaino (without backpacks), teachers have reflected the importance of meaningful learning based on projects. Community, hospitality and responsibility are the three values that characterize this innovative center.
Thanks to these initiatives we end the day with the pleasant feeling that educational innovation is possible.
Nuestro segundo día de formación en Italia ha estado centrado en la integración e inclusión en la escuela, donde los organizadores del curso nos han mostrado diferentes proyectos de apoyo a la integración al sistema educativo que están llevando a cabo con niños inmigrantes así como la población romaní asentada en la provincia de Pisa.
Después de un agradable convivencia con nuestros socios del proyecto, hemos visitado la escuela «Zensa Zaino» en la población de la Cenaia donde los estudiantes han presentado una metodología diferente y novedosa. A través de la metáfora de la Zensa Zaino (sin mochila) los maestros han reflejado la importancia del aprendizaje significativo basado en el juego a través de proyectos. La comunidad, la hospitalidad y la responsabilidad son los tres valores que caracterizan este innovador centro.
Gracias a estas iniciativas terminamos el día con la grata sensación de que la innovación educativa es posible.
