Hoy, el tercer día de formación, se ha hecho una recopilación del proyecto “School is fun! Come on time!” desde el principio hasta el día de hoy. A continuación, los países participantes han expuesto unos eslóganes hechos por sus alumnos para evitar el abandono escolar. También, hemos intercambiado opiniones acerca de los aspectos principales del proyecto.
Tras la formación, hemos participado en un taller de manualidades (Handicrafts – Çini), en el cual hemos pintado sobre cerámica con la ayuda de los alumnos del centro, que son verdaderos artistas.
La comida de hoy ha sido preparada por algunas mujeres de la localidad y hemos podido degustar platos típicos de la zona. Posteriormente, nos ha acogido el alcalde en el ayuntamiento donde nos ha explicado la historia e información de Ahlat. Seguidamente hemos visitado la mezquita del pueblo, el museo arqueológico y el cementerio más grande de Turquía.
Para terminar el día, hemos recibido el diploma por nuestra participación en este encuentro y algunos detalles por parte de los participantes.
Today was the third day of the training programme in which we talked about everything we have done and achieved from the start of the project to the present day. Next, the participants presented some slogans which had been invented by their students, in order to prevent early school leaving. As well as this, we exchanged opinions about the main aspects of the project.
After the training session, we participated in a handicraft workshop (Çini) which required us to paint on ceramic tiles, with the help of art and design students. They’re great artists!
Today’s lunch was prepared by some of the women from the town and we were lucky enough to taste some of the typical regional dishes. Subsequently, the mayor met us at the town hall where he explained some interesting facts and history about Ahlat. We then went on to visit the town’s mosque, an archaeology museum and the biggest cemetery in Turkey.
To end the day, we were given our diplomas confirming our participation in the programme and some presents were exchanged between the participants.
