Desde el 24 de abril hasta el 1 de mayo, 15 alumnos de segundo y tercero de ESO están disfrutando de un intercambio con estudiantes de una prestigiosa escuela bilingüe londinense. Nuestros chicos están alojados en casa de las familias de sus compañeros británicos donde, además de practicar y mejorar su nivel de inglés, llevan a cabo actividades extraescolares basadas en la convivencia intercultural.
En horario lectivo, y a lo largo de toda la semana, desarrollan sus habilidades comunicativas en lengua inglesa. Por ejemplo, han participado activamente en una clase de inglés diseñada especialmente para ellos y competido en una carrera deportiva con estudiantes de distintos centros educativos de Londres. Aprender, conocer, convivir, divertirse… disfrutando de las vistas y sonidos de la capital británica constituye una experiencia inolvidable.
Ahora se están preparando para pasar un fin de semana con las familias, las cuales muestran una vez más su hospitalidad organizando una amplia y variada agenda de actividades.

From the 24th April until the 1st May, fifteen students from 2nd and 3rd of ESO are taking part in the first ever English exchange with students at a prestigious London based, bilingual school. The students are lucky enough to be hosted in the homes of the families where they participate in after school clubs and activities with their partners, giving them ample opportunity to speak and practise their English.
During the school day, throughout this week, they have participated in various activities, including a specially designed English lesson just for them, as well in a cross country running competition with English students. They have also had time to experience many of the sights and sounds of the British capital.
Now the students are preparing to spend the weekend with their host families who have been kind enough to organise a range of activities for them. The experience so far has been very beneficial and positive for all involved.
